Super fun and friendly spot offering high quality ingredients prepared with exceptional care, resulting in delicious meals for all three of us. Huge bonus that they’re able to accommodate celiac diners with gluten free options that are free from cross contamination. The gluten free calamari is the best we’ve ever had. We’re so glad we have this gem in our city and look forward to coming back soon. Much appreciated!!!

I am completely blown away. I just had the best dessert at 1885. We stopped in for dessert and drinks after a sub par dinner somewhere else for my birthday. Had a yummy cosmopolitan at the bar which came with a cranberry rose ice cube!! Gorgeous. I will preface this next part by saying: I am not a cheesecake person... but I ordered the pineapple upside down cheesecake and WHOA!! The texture and the layers and complexity of this baby were off the chain. There was the crisp crunch of the candied sugar on top complimented by the tang of the cheese like Greek yogurt-like filling and the gorgeous luxardo cherry reduction that were out of this world. And hey, was there a caramel sauce on there too??? I think so! That dessert knocked my socks off and I want to go here for my next birthday, but I won’t wait that long to return. This was a great find!! Thank you 1885 for a wonderful birthday evening.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at 1885, and I must say, it was amazing. The bartenders, Nicole and Christina, made great cocktails The highlight of the meal was the chef's incredible brownie tower dessert. It was a spectacular creation. Overall, 1885 offers a wonderful combination of excellent drinks, exceptional food.I highly recommend it.

We celebrated Jackie’s 44th birthday at 1885 Canal District with a group of seven, and the entire experience was flawless. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and taken care of. Service was prompt, professional, and genuinely warm—the kind that makes you want to come back before you’ve even left. The vibe was exactly what we were hoping for—great energy, stylish decor, and the perfect balance of upbeat and relaxed. You could feel the life in the space. The cocktails stole the show. Their espresso martini was one of the best we’ve had—smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced. Their craft cocktail menu had something for everyone, and each drink came out looking and tasting like it belonged in a magazine. 1885 Canal District gave us exactly what we needed: great food, top-tier drinks, a lively atmosphere, and memories worth more than the time we spent. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking to celebrate something—or just want to feel like life should always feel this good.

This was a very nice restaurant. I ordered a Cosmopolitan & Blueberry Paradise for drinks. Both were presented beautifully & tasted amazing. For dinner, I ordered the Stuffed Pepper. The flavors of the dish were outstanding. The server was very attentive & friendly. I would definitely recommend

Came here for Sunday Brunch. Everything was delicious. They made sure everything was cooked to our liking. Loved the minimalist menu. The girl working the bar today can make a mean espresso martini. I should know because I am a martini snob. Very attentive staff. Will definitely come back.
